On August 6, exactly 80 years ago, the Enola Gay dropped the first nuclear bomb ever to be used in war on the densely populated city of Hiroshima, Japan. Three days later, a second nuclear bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. Several hundred thousand people were killed. In his 1994 paper, “How Bertrand Russell Became an Evil Man,” which was written in response to a raging debate approaching the 50th anniversary of that fateful day about a Smithsonian exhibit of the Enola Gay, and whether the bombings were necessary, LaRouche wrote:

“Why did the United States government drop the only two nuclear-fission weapons in its arsenal upon those two virtually defenseless population-centers in Japan? The U.S. government lied when it said this was necessary to save perhaps a million or so U.S. soldiers’ lives. Before the dropping of what quickly came to be described in awe-stricken tones as ‘the bomb,’ the Emperor of Japan was already negotiating surrender with the Truman government, through Vatican channels, on the same terms Japan’s surrender was accepted after the bombs were dropped.”

Over in London, at the time, were two significant characters. One was significant because of his evil philosophical approach to science, which led him to believe that the world population must be culled by horrible diseases and war, and the other, a terrible drunk, significant only because of his powerful office, which positioned him to impose the satanic worldview of the former. The first was Bertrand Russell, falsely promoted as a brilliant “mathematician and philosopher,” and the second was Britain’s Prime Minister WInston Churchill.

They shared a belief, expressed as policy in Churchill’s “Operation Unthinkable,” that a “total war,” including a preemptive nuclear war against Russia, should be launched as soon as possible, even before the Japanese surrender, in order to establish a new order, in which the British liberal/imperial system would rule the world, with all of its economic, cultural, moral, and military perversions.

Thus, the dropping of the nuclear bombs upon Japan had nothing to do with ending the war; they were merely the opening salvo in a new, longer war, which is currently on a trajectory, if nothing is done to alter it, to reach its ultimate, horrifying end. The end will not be the destruction of Russia, as former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and some delusional fools at the Pentagon, and demented Congressmen, believe. The end will be just that: the end—the end of all or most life on Earth, perhaps for centuries to come.

That is why, this week in particular, it is worthwhile to reflect on what happened in Japan on that fateful day, 80 years ago, and remember, as Tulsi Gabbard, in her personal, non-official capacity, tried to remind us, after she visited Hiroshima and saw the horrifying images of children with their skin burned off, desperately seeking relief, that no one will survive such a war. Today’s nuclear weapons are far more lethal than those used in 1945.

On August 6, Schiller Institute Founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche will host a dialogue with Dr. Akiko Mikamo, whose father miraculously survived the Hiroshima bombing, and who imparted to her the story of the hellish hours of its aftermath, and his own journey of reconciliation and forgiveness, which are documented in her book 8:15 A True Story of Survival and Forgiveness from Hiroshima.

The Russiagate Flank To Prevent Nuclear War

The British intention to have a military showdown between the two leading nuclear superpowers, the United States and Russia, is the reason why the Russiagate hoax was perpetrated against President Donald Trump, prior to and throughout his first presidency. The intent of that fabrication was not only “treasonous,” as Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has stated, but it also prevented President Trump from establishing normal diplomatic relations with Russia, which later made it possible for the Biden Administration and NATO to provoke the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, waving away Putin’s several attempts to secure certain agreements respecting Russia’s legitimate security concerns, including that Russia not have a nuclear-armed NATO member (Ukraine) on its border.

With President Trump’s latest comments pertaining to the placement of American nuclear submarines, which was already proposed by Keith Kellogg in 2022, and the Russian response announcing the end of its one-sided compliance with the former INF Treaty (meaning that Russia and NATO are entering a new nuclear arms race), the situation could not be more dangerous.

The pompous former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, in his Aug. 4 speech at Taiwan’s Ketagalan Forum—Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue, praised the shift in Trump’s policy, saying, “I think in the Trump White House, the scales have now fallen from their eyes about Putin. And there is a real possibility that in just a couple of days—August the 8th, isn’t it?—those countries, third countries that have been enabling Putin’s war by buying his hydrocarbons, India and China will be hit hard by secondary sanctions. And of course, I don’t think any of those countries imagined for a second when this war began that they might in time be visited by that kind of punishment,” he gloated.

BoJo, in the tradition of Churchill and Russell, asserts with confidence that Russia is going to lose this war. Since Russia is undeniably winning the ground war in Ukraine, either Johnson is just loopy, or he also believes that a “decapitation strike” against Russia is possible—a decapitation strike, which would unleash the unsurvivable “Dead Hand,” which is when the Kremlin is hit and all of the Russian missiles are programmed to automatically launch toward the West. As Putin has described it, “Everyone will die, but since we didn’t initiate the strikes, we will die as martyrs and go to Heaven, everyone else will just be dead.”

Eighty years after this war against Russia was begun in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we must stop it now. The British role in the Russiagate assault on the Presidency, which is now being exposed by DNI Gabbard, is an important flank that must be hit hard. That is why The LaRouche Organization has released the white paper “Worse than Treason: The Actual Motive Behind Russiagate,” available at the QR code below.

It’s useful that Attorney General Pam Bondi will convene a grand jury to investigate the crimes of former Obama Administration officials and intelligence operatives, but this is not a partisan matter. The so-called “special relationship” between the United States of America and the British Empire must be severed forever.

Print and circulate the pamphlet on social media, take it to your Congressman’s office, your local newspaper, university campuses, and any other institution you can think of. President Trump has to recognize that King Charles’s “Global Britain” is his and humanity’s biggest adversary, not Russia.
