Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, appearing on the July 20 Fox News “Sunday Morning Futures” show, announced that she will be releasing “more detailed information” showing that President Barack Obama personally, in concert with the British-controlled pack of administration officials, including then-DNI James Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, et al., lied when, on Dec. 9, 2016, they drew up a new U.S. intelligence evaluation that charged “Russia had hacked the 2006 U.S. election,” contradicting and overturning previously-established, but suppressed U.S. intelligence evaluations, which said the opposite. EIR has contended since the inception of Russiagate, that the hoax was carried out to spread a campaign, actually initiated by GCHQ Chief Robert Hannigan (GCHQ is Britain’s equivalent to the NSA), and based on high-level MI6 intelligence agent Christopher Steele’s duplicitous dossier that contends how Russia was directly behind Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential election victory. The operation’s aim was to use Russiagate to damage, even destroy, U.S.-Russia relations, and to undermine the Trump Presidency, even the U.S. Presidency, for the greater glory of the British Empire.

Gabbard stressed to host Maria Bartiromo, “We will be releasing more detailed information about how exactly this took place, and the extent to which this information was sought to be hidden from the American people, hidden from officials who would be in a position to do something about it.” She continued: “Accountability is essential for the future of our country, for the American people to have any sense of trust in the integrity of our democratic republic. Accountability, action, prosecution, indictments for those who are responsible for trying to steal our democracy is essential for us to make sure that this never happens to our country again.”

Gabbard added, “I really cannot fathom” how special counsels Robert Mueller and John Durham missed evidence of this “years-long coup against President Trump. There is no rational or logical explanation for why they failed.” She continued: “The only logical conclusion that I can draw in this … is that there was direct intent to cover up the truth about what occurred and who was responsible and the broad network of how this seditious conspiracy was concocted and who exactly was responsible for carrying it out.”

Among other things, Gabbard’s team unearthed a Sept. 12, 2016 intelligence community assessment that “foreign adversaries do not have and will probably not obtain the capabilities to successfully execute widespread and undetected cyber attacks” on election systems.

Following Gabbard’s July 18 report, Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) appeared on “Face the Nation” to ridicule it, and threaten that Gabbard would never get a judicial hearing for her charges. “Here’s the test,” he said. “Criminal referrals. We’re going to prosecute Barack Obama. You know, treasonous and seditious. Here’s the thing. And I hope that four, five, six weeks from now—don’t take it from this Democrat—four or five, six weeks from now, let’s see if this administration, Tulsi Gabbard accusing a former president of treason, let’s see if they bring charges. They won’t. They won’t, because there’s not a judge in the land, not a single judge, who will treat this with anything other than laughter.”

Gabbard, in a feisty mood, would have none of what Himes said. On the general point of whether there would be indictments, Gabbard disclosed: “We have whistleblowers, actually, coming forward now after we released these documents, because there are people who were around, who were working within the intelligence community at this time who were so disgusted by what happened. We’re starting to see some of them come out of the woodwork here, because they … want to see justice delivered … there must be indictments.” She had said, “Those responsible, no matter how powerful they are and were at that time, no matter who was involved in creating this treasonous conspiracy against the American people, they all must be held accountable.”

Gabbard revealed that U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel will now need to gather up evidence and decide whether to bring charges. She considers that indictments are essential.
