US Ambassador to the Soviet Union - NATO's Expansion and Today's Crisis in Ukraine 

This can now be nailed to the door of Washington Neo-cons - warmongers who want Russia, weakened and divided. 

I met and spoke with Ambassador Jack Matlock, not once but twice whilst in Moscow back in 1986. How can a New Zealand Hobbit from Matamata (Middle Earth) manage such serendipity and synchronicity within a week - when prior to coming to Russia and Moscow I knew no one?

This is a very profound story, that enabled me to end up meeting and talking Nuclear disarmament globally - this during Michail Gorbachev's Perestroika and Glasnost. This story embraces Leonard Nimoy, Spock in Star Trek and Steve Wozniak the other half of Apple Computer who was on a Peace March from Leningrad to Moscow.  All within a space of 36 hours.
