Hi and thank you for checking out my channel on Voice Media, Pendulum.
Well, don't we all love a good play on words? All my life I've been teased and had jokes made about my name. Penny. No, not Penelope - just Penny.
Here are some that I can recall with ease: Penny the Pig, 'Two and a half cents' (what my Accounting teacher at school called me), Penny-lope, Penny the Prolific Pooing Cow (yup, it's a book and song), Penfold, Pen-meister... and my personal fav P-dawg.
And so, grown up me, the woman I have become, particularly over the past two years, has come to realise, I get to OWN IT. And so, taking my much teased name, I named my channel PENDULUM, because... the pendulum of truth needs to swing back into the hands of we the people. Truth needs to be reclaimed and put back into the hands of reliable, responsible, factual, un-biased journalism. And also, discussion, seeing both points of view. Not media channels that are funded by massive corporations who want only their views spun.
No more cancel culture. No more virtue signalling. No more hating. Let's have discourse. Let's love our differences. Let's be united in our differences.
And so, here I am. Finding my voice. Putting it out there.
I'm passionate about TRUTH. In particular, our kids, our communities, our food and water sources, and living well. I'm super interested in the truth about Aotearoa - the incredible discoveries on our land that have been kept secret from us.
Mostly, I'm here seeing, and being part of a massive AWAKENING of consciousness. As we navigate through these turbulent times, and surge towards unity consciousness... I'm loving the journey. We are able to free ourselves of past traumas and fears, and walk into a lighter, more loving and pure way to live.
I'll be sharing stories of my incredible journey and the beautiful people I have meet, and daily meet, along this journey.
