Zepp-LaRouche: We Have Descended Into the Law of the Jungle

“I think we all are aware of the fact that the world is completely out of order,” were the opening words of Helga Zepp-LaRouche to the 119th consecutive weekly meeting of the International Peace Coalition. “We are in what you could call the law of the jungle,” and the entire planet is being subjected to the tried-and-tested British imperial policy of the “strategy of tension.”

Zepp-LaRouche surveyed the strategic situation: “We had the supposed Russian drone attack on Polish territory, which some are calling the biggest incident since the founding of NATO in 1949; we had the assassination of Charlie Kirk, which clearly has far-reaching significance as a message to all politicians in the United States and elsewhere; we had the Israeli attack on Qatar; we had the destabilization of more countries, such as Nepal and Serbia; we have threats against Brazil and Venezuela; we have the French situation, which is close to ungovernability; and we have the potential explosion of the everything bubble.”

“So it is not an exaggeration,” Zepp-LaRouche stressed, “to say that we are really looking at a very far-reaching breakdown of the international order.”

However, she went on, “the common denominator in all of this is that it is in reaction to the fact that a new world economic system is emerging with the SCO meeting in Tianjin, China at the beginning of September and the subsequent announcements that this organization is planning to create a new SCO bank to generate credit for infrastructure and other development. It is a new system which is emerging of countries that, in unity with the BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union, with ASEAN, with CELAC, with the African Union—in other words with organizations of the Global South—are in the process of organizing a new system based on the UN Charter, the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, as a clear answer to the attempt to establish a unipolar world by the West in the post-Cold War period.”

Zepp-LaRouche urged participants to pay special attention to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s recent Global Governance Initiative, which provides a conceptual and policy framework for how that transition can be brought about peacefully.

Such an approach is urgently required to make sure that well-meaning people don’t miss the forest for the trees.

To wit: In the 48 hours since the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, endless “explanations” have been spun out—with greater or lesser amounts of assembled documentation—as to “whodunnit.” We are told it was the Ukrainian CCD, the Israeli Mossad, the transgender radicals, the Mormons, and so on.

That same flawed methodology was reflected in the otherwise appropriate comments of Rep. Alexandra Ocasio Cortez (AOC), who said she was canceling an upcoming weekend rally in North Carolina out of security considerations but also out of respect for Charlie Kirk. AOC stated: “The security protocols and the ways we think about it and conceive of it are for a bygone time. They’re not designed for stochastic time.”

But the current wave of blind terror and violence is not “stochastic,” or random and unpredictable. It is designed to appear so, but it is actually governed by a top-down policy of British imperial interests known as the “strategy of tension.”

Lyndon LaRouche explained the concept succinctly in a March 24, 2004 article, “How Must We Deal with the New Turn in This Worsening Crisis?”, referring to terror incidents which had just occurred in the Middle East:

“The March 11 Madrid train bombings have been labeled ‘Europe’s 9/11.’ Middle East specialists have described the March 22 assassination of Hamas leader Sheikh Yassin as ‘a new Sarajevo, launching a World War III in the Middle East.’ As dramatic as these characterizations are, they miss a larger point. Both acts were part of a global ‘strategy of tension’ eruption, aimed at creating conditions of worldwide chaos and ungovernability.

“Taken from the top down, these incidents represent a systematic campaign by Synarchist banking circles to blow up the world, rather than allow sovereign nation-states act to reorganize the doomed post-Bretton Woods floating exchange-rate system.”

LaRouche urged then, as we do now, that forces in all nations organize “a commitment to the kind of reconstruction of world affairs, which has the kind of effect on areas of today’s bloody strife, which the 1648 Treaty of Westphalia brought to a Europe despoiled by the accumulation of religious and related hatred brewed by the religious warfare of Europe’s 1511-1648 interval. I suggest that the idea of that Treaty of Westphalia be studied in depth, and invoked as a programmatic campaign for the kind of peace which would be durable and profitable for each and all of the peoples involved.”
