Snowbirds not asleep in 2001 can tell you all about the conundrum of Larry Silverstein's curious statement regarding his instructions to 'pull' World Trade Centre 47 storey building 7 down on 11th September 2001 - hours after two 'jets' hit the Twin Tower buildings in New York City.
These same snowbirds have chattered for years into the winds about this, with not many people listening, at least not until COVID brought many minds into the clarity of clear thinking and the topic of 9/11 is getting another airing. Now we have many curious minds broaching this very subject.
For many minds at the time, the newscast of Silverstein declaring his decision to pull building 7 on the very day the Twin Towers were hit defies belief in that, what?? He was able to get demo experts on site and have the 47 storey building wired for demo in mere hours?? Oh we think not, so what does this say about Silverstein?
Silverstein was the very new owner of 99 year leases on the Twin Towers complex in early September 2001, and he carried some serious insurance for buildings that were in very sore need of updating, riddled as they were with asbestos. Just why would you buy these albatrosses anyway? Well you would if there was 'something' in it for you right?
In the aftermath of 9/11 Silverstein would have received one hefty insurance payout.
